Home Remedies to get rid of acne scar

The temptation to squeeze zits can often result in getting permanent scars. The scars will eventually disappear in the natural processing of healing. However, the discoloration of the skin may last up to 18 months. You can always treat your acne scars naturally without using any harsh chemicals that may harm your skin even more.
  • Mix equal amounts of honey and lemon juice. Apply the mixture to your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Wash with cold water. (Dry skin)
  • Mix cucumber juice (you can just smash an unpeeled cucumber slices and squeeze out the juice with your hand) and lemon juice. Apply the mixture to your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Wash with cold water. (Oily skin)
  • Cut the tomato in half and rub on the skin. Leave on for fifteen minutes. Wash it off with water. This will reduce open pores and blackheads. (Oily skin)
  • Exfoliate your skin with baking soda. Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 2 teaspoons of filtered water. Then gently rub the mixture on your acne scar for sixty seconds then rinse it off.

    This is an excellent and wonderful remedy to get rid of acne scars. Make a sandalwood paste with rose water and apply on the scars. Keep it overnight and wash it with cold water the next day. If you find that your skin becomes dry in the morning, you leave it only for a few hours on your face or you may try adding some milk while making paste.
