Oily skin means that you need some extra care to remove the excess oil on your skin and to keep the oil production on balance. Facial mask used on oily skin can also help to clean and purify the skin to avoid pimples (oily skin is usually acne prone) and reduce pores.
- Mix 1 medium size grated apple with 5 tablespoons of honey. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
- Mash 8 whole strawberries and mix them with 3 tablespoons of honey. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water. Do not forget to test it first to your skin behind the ear to see if your skin is allergic to the mixture.
- Dissolve a teaspoon of baking yeast in a small amount of warm milk, wait until foamy, then apply it to your face.
- Mash up a small amount of papaya for your own fruit acid mask. Smear it on your skin, leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse.
- Mix green clay powder with water or honey and apply it to your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse.
- Beat egg whites until frothy and apply it to your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse well. You could also mix the egg whites with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
- Use milk of magnesia. Rub it on to your face and let it dry. Rinse with lukewarm water. It absorbs oil wonderfully.
