If you do have this type of skin, you need to wash your face thoroughly but gentle using an oil-based cleanser. Do not use hot water because it will make your skin even drier. Some home remedies to help with the dry skin:
- Apply aloe vera gel or almond oil lightly to skin and massage gently. Use it every night before bed time.
- Use mineral water instead of tap water when washing your face.
- Beauty mask for dry skin:
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil
- few drops of rose water
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly and use as a mask
- Avocado contains great amount of vitamins and oils that help soothe and heal dry skin. Try this avocado mask by beating the yolk of the egg until light and frothy. Mix it with mash avocados until you have a smooth mixture. Apply on your face and neck for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
