Making your own hair gel is really easy. Homemade Hair Gel is good for people with sensitive skin because you would know all the ingredients used.
- Dissolve 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of unflavored gelatin in a cup of warm water. Keep refrigerated and use as you would a purchased gel.
- Add 2 Tablespoons of flax seed in 1 cup of water and boil them together. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Keep stirring until a gel is formed. You can add 1-2 drops your choice of scented oils, or 1 vitamin E capsule if you have damaged hair, or even add pure aloe vera gel for its moisturizing properties.
